The inaugural 'Walk to Prevent Addiction and Overdose' is a free event for all ages hosted by the Hawaii Island Fentanyl Task Force. Registration is at 8 a.m. on Sept. 30 near Hilo Bay Café and the Lihiwai Street/Banyan Drive intersection. The walk starts at 8:30 a.m. There will be prevention resources available, live music and more.
