KELSEY WALLING/Tribune-Herald file photo The former Hilo Memorial Hospital currently serves as a men's shelter. A second round of public input about the future of the former Hilo Memorial Hospital will begin this week. The County of Hawaii Office of Housing and Community Development is developing a master plan for the future of the former hospital property at 34 Rainbow Drive. In an effort to shape that plan, the office will hold an open house on Thursday (Sept. 14) to encourage public comments and suggestions for how the property should be developed.
