A cargo van used to support local outreach for The Salvation Army in Hilo was stolen sometime between Monday and Tuesday, according to a release from the Hawaii Police Department. The van was used for a variety of social services and was stolen from the Salvation Army's parking lot located at 219 Ponahawai St. The van is a white 2006 Ford E-350 extended cargo van with Hawaii license plate 917HDK. 'We use this van for food pick-ups to support our food pantry and homeless feeding and different thrift store duties,' said Capt.
