AARP Hawaii, in partnership with Access Corporation, will hold a document shredding and food drive event at the Hilo High School parking lot from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. on April 29. The shredding is free, and attendees don't have to be an AARP member to use the service, but they must preregister for a time slot. Those without appointments will get priority, and those without appointments will be accommodated as space is available. To register for a time to bring documents for shredding, go to events.
